They discuss pressure points which may lead to an Ethiopian Spring that include Economic crises; land grabbing, corruption, ethnic division, political repression and the potential role of social media / new media in people-powered change in Ethiopia

- Strength and weaknesses of the Ethiopian diaspora
- Solutions and action items for the Ethiopian diaspora:
- Using the power of our purse: Withdrawing financial support from the dictatorship
- Leveraging our residence in democratic and influential countries—engaging Western governments and western media
- “Not in our backyard”: Effectively keeping Ethiopian diaspora institutions TPLF-free
- Other critical action items the Ethiopian diaspora can and should do
